What to Expect

If you are looking for a place to worship, we would love to see you at FBCCM! We gather for corporate worship every Sunday morning at 11:00. Below are some answers to common questions people tend to have when visiting a church for the first time. If you have any additional questions about our church, please feel free to contact the church office by phone or email, and we will be happy to assist you!

How should I dress?

However you are comfortable! Generally speaking, our church is fairly casual. There is no standard dress code. We have people who occasionally wear a jacket and tie, and those who never do! We are not worried about who wears what at FBCCM, so come in what you are most comfortable wearing.

What is the music like?

We believe that singing praises to God is an essential part of worship, so we devote time each Sunday to do just that. We sing a blend of traditional and modern hymns, as well as some contemporary worship songs, though we lean toward mostly traditional hymns. Our aim, no matter the style of song, is to pick songs that exalt Jesus and stir our hearts toward Him.

What is the preaching like?

We typically preach verse by verse through books of the Bible. On a weekly basis our sermons aim to teach God’s Word in a way that helps people understand it more clearly, and to apply the Word to our lives and to the life of our church. You can check out our sermons by clicking here

Is childcare available during the worship service?

Yes! We love to have children join us in our time of corporate worship, and we welcome you to bring in children of all ages whenever you like. However, we do offer childcare if that’s something that would be helpful for you and your family! The nursery is always open to newborns-pre-k throughout the entire service. Our K-2nd grade kids join us during the music portion of our worship service, and are invited to be dismissed to children’s church during the sermon. The first sunday of each month is “Family Worship,” during which children’s church is not available for our k-2nd graders.

How long does Sunday worship last?

We begin at 11 and are typically done around 12:10.
